American Pickers in Ohio

The American Pickers are planning to film their hit show in Ohio during the month of August.

Officials announced they will be filming episodes of the History Channel’s hit television series throughout the state, exploring the world of antique “picking.”

The show follows skilled pickers as they hunt for the most valuable of antiques in America.

“They are always excited to find historically-significant or rare items, in addition to unforgettable characters and their collections,” officials stated. “The pickers have seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before.”

The pickers are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics, and in addition, want to meet characters with amazing stories and fun items. They are ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tales about them.

If you or someone you know has a unique item, story to tell and is ready to sell, contact the show. However, the show does not choose stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums or anything open to the public.

If interested, send your name, phone number, location and a description of the collection with photos to americanpickers@cineflix.com or call (646) 493-2184. Those interested also can visit the American Pickers Facebook page GotAPick.
